Continuing Education Programs

The Career Success Scholarship, which is generously supported by the Helena Rubinstein Foundation, is the first such program at CUNY that is just for individuals enrolling in continuing education programs. It is open to individuals who seek to advance their careers through education and training, and who do not have access to other sources of funding that can pay for tuition. Scholarship applicants may also be individuals who are unemployed or seeking a career change. Successful applicants will either have no degree, or else, if they have a degree, have been out of school for at least five years.

The Career Success Scholarship is only available during Fall and Spring terms. Applicants must submit the required documentation in full by the close date for consideration. Note that awards are for up to 90 percent of tuition only.

The Dental Assistant Certificate and Pharmacy Technician Certificate programs are ineligible for the Helena Rubinstein Scholarship, as well as the Certificate in Legal Studies. 

The Spring 2026 online application will be active as of 9:00 am on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, and will close as of 5:00 pm (submit no later than 4:59 pm) on Monday, December 8, 2025.
